Financial Consultation
     
Our Financial Assist program focuses on educating consumers about wise money management and responsible credit use.  The service goal is to resolve financial distress and assist customers in creating and achieving financial goals.  Consultants are knowledgeable on a wide range of financial topics; many specialize in specific areas of credit and finance to best assist customers in handling more complex issues.

 
Credit Consultation/Referral

Employees with financial difficulties are provided with a free consultation with one of Chestnut Health Systems' certified credit counselors who provides assistance in budget planning, debt reduction, and loan consolidation.  Chestnut’s credit counseling program is a member of the National Foundation for Consumer Credit (NFCC) and accredited by Council on Accreditation (COA).


Online Assistance

Chestnut Global Partners (CGP), in partnership with Workplace Options (WPO) offers its clients a state-of-the-art website that is both comprehensive and detailed.  Our website features highly intuitive navigation of seven content divisions: Aging, Balancing, Living, Parenting, Thriving and Working.  No matter where employees and family members may be in their lives, our website has information to support and assist them.
 

Eldercare Services

Prior to or following an in-home assessment provided by a CGP provider, the participant can receive written materials through our work-life program.  Our consultants are designed to not only respond to a user’s presenting issue, but to also scope out the full range of support required to resolve the member’s need.  Consultants work with an employee so as to clearly understand their situation and to assist them in developing a comprehensive plan of action.  Our response is not merely to answer questions, but to ensure effective and successful outcomes.
 

Identity Theft Solutions

Identity theft solutions are offered to employees and their spouses and dependents who are victims of identify theft.  In partnership with experts in the credit industry, CGP offers a unique identity theft restoration service for employees.

 
Program Promotion

Each year, we develop a “promotional plan” with the company.  Because we want the EAP to be fully used, it needs to be visible and presented in a positive light to encourage employees to take advantage of the service.

 
Work-Life Services - Additional Cost

Dependent care resources and referrals, daily demand referrals, family-life materials can be provided through CGP's strategic alliance with Workplace Options (WPO), a premier nationwide provider of Resource and Referral Programs.  An intake counselor will assess the need for work life, and seamlessly transfer the caller to a Workplace Options Care Consultant.  
 

Critical Incident Intervention

We have responded to numerous traumatic workplace incidents at employer facilities throughout North America and around the world over the past several years, including serious accidental injuries and fatalities, explosions, kidnappings, disasters, attempted or actual assaults by disgruntled employees, and major workplace upheaval.
